Privacy
This page explains what personal information Living Music Machines LLC ("we") collects through livingmusicmachines.com, why, and what you can do about it. We collect very little, and we never sell it.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join the access list. We use it to send you updates about our products.
- Your name, email address, and message, if you use the contact form. We use them to reply to you.
- Order details, if you buy from us: your name, email address, shipping address, phone number if you give one, and what you ordered. We use them to process, ship, and support your order, and to keep the records tax law requires. Payments are handled by Stripe: your card details go directly to Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.
- Basic visit statistics, through Google Analytics, which uses cookies to count visits and see which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from. We see totals, not who you are.
- Standard server logs kept by our web host, such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the site running.
Who handles it for us
We use a few service providers, and each processes your information only to provide its service to us:
- beehiiv stores the access list and sends our emails.
- Netlify hosts the site and receives contact form messages.
- Stripe processes payments. Stripe may use payment information to prevent fraud, as described in its privacy policy.
- Shipping carriers receive your name, address, and phone number to deliver your order.
- Google provides analytics and our email.
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We would disclose it only if the law required us to.
Your choices
- Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
- To see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, contact us. We'll respond within 30 days.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works without them.
How long we keep it
We keep your access list email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, contact messages for as long as we need them to deal with your request, and order records for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
